Summary of Transformations
In the furthest reaches of the galaxy, a lone transport pilot, Wolf Shadduck, locks in this destination, switches onto automatic pilot, and retires for the night. Little does he know that events will soon steer him onto a collision course with the gruesome horrors of Transformations, where a frightening plague threatens mankind, where an act of passion unleashes deadly forces, and where a horrifying evil lurks behind seductive facades. when Shadduck awakens from a nightmarish slumber, he finds himself in the hospital ward of a prison colony, his ship has crashed with its cargo intact. Soon Shadduck finds himself gripped with a grotesque and mysterious disease which, unless a cure is found, will eventually transform him into a horrendous beast. The authorities, and even Father Christopher, the colony priest, are powerless before such a pervasive evil.
