Movie Review: Good songs; mediocre music videos.

As the title suggests, Seven Songs Seldom Seen is a collection of all the music videos from Toad The Wet Sprocket's first three albums. They are as follows: One Little Girl, Come Back Down, Jam, Is It For Me, Hold Her Down, All I Want, and Walk On The Ocean. While these songs are good, the videos themselves are nothing special. Sure, you get to see which band member is which, but that's about all you get to see. I can understand that the band probably didn't have much money to work with, but they could have done better than this. The video for Is It For Me, a song about a classic haunted house, shows only brief shots of a house that doesn't appear very old, let alone haunted, in broad daylight. As for the Walk On The Ocean clip, the director could have easily filmed more of the ocean and other scenery. Also, why is there no video for I Will Not Take These Things For Granted? It was released as a single as well and it would have made this tape longer than 25 minutes. Overall, I would say you could pass on this without missing much. I recommend PS: A Toad Retrospective, instead. It features most of the songs on this video, as well as some later hits. If you must buy Seven Songs Seldom Seen, don't pay more than $10 for it.Movie Review: A must have for Toad fans

This video is a must have for any Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips, or Lapdog fans. Although the most easily recognisable song on this video is "All I Want", this video also contains earlier Toad videos such as "Is it For Me?" and "Come Back Down", and more. 'Seven Songs Seldom Seen' is one of the hottest music videos available today. This collection of their early greatest hits (including video releases from 'Fear') is Toad at their best. Perhaps I'm a bit prejudiced.... I personally think that Toad the Wet Sprocket is one of the best all around bands in modern rock. Lyrically, musically and vocally, there is no equal. Glenn Phillips and company never dissapoint. You won't regret adding this to your collection - I know I haven't!Movie Review: an absolute must-have for any toad fan
