Movie Review: Great Intro to Yoga!
Summary: 5 Stars

This may be one of the nicest Christmas presents we ever received! When our three year old received this along with a yoga mat, I admit, I was a bit taken aback. Then we started watching it. What great fun and a great way to get mom and dad moving too. I never thought at 47 I'd find myself sitting on the floor singing "Peace, Love, Togetherness" again, but I am. Our 20 month old joins into the fun as well. Catchy music, fun explanations of poses, and calming time make this video a must have.

I find myself humming the tunes in Banana Yoga throughout the day and it's the top favorite dvd in the house. When the kids get antsy & it's not practical or possible to play the dvd, they will play Banana Yoga by singing the songs & using their imaginations.

Shana Banana could easily be among the ranks of Mr. Rogers, Captain Kangaroo & Shari Lewis. Her positive spirit & demeanor is much needed in today's world.

I ordered this for my kindergarten classroom, we were so disappointed. It was hokey and did not keep the children's attention. We had just finished Yoga Fitness (which they loved)! They said "Please lets go back to the the old one".

We bought Banana Yoga to redirect some of the kids' boundless energy on rainy & snowy days, and it keeps them active all year round! It's become THE favorite video in the house! The kids like Shana Banana so much that they will eat their green vegetables in order to watch Banana Yoga...it's like a magic wand for the parent's toolbox! It's good to see children's products, like Banana Yoga, on the market that focus on exercise, not just entertainment.
