Movie Review: quite advanced
Summary: 4 Stars
I doubt anyone would argue that Scott is one of the world's best/most knowledgable jazz guitarists, so...although there are "nuggets" for the beginner and intermediate at the beginning of both videos (and many undocumented "licks" throughout), things get very advanced, very quickly. You do get a massive amount of information for your money, however, not many subjects get elaborated...leaving an overall rushed feeling (you'll probably destroy the tape and/or the rewind on your VCR before you digest this entire video set - make back ups). If you don't already know intermediate (at least) guitar theory, look somewhere else, first.
