This 23-minute video is intended for K-4. It features a boy and girl who return to their empty classroom, get locked in, and then have to use scientific techniques to arrive at a method for getting out. They open a closet, and Ben Franklin, Madame Curie, and George Washington Carver appear. These stellar scientists offer them advice on how to proceed, and help them interpret the results of their experiments.

The children try to set up an ecosystem within the classroom for long-term survival, and try to design parachutes that would enable them to jump out of the windows safely. The video has a double anticlimactic ending.

Science is all around us at every moment of our lives. And when you least expect it, scientific inquiry can come to the rescue! In this exciting program, two young students find themselves trapped in their science classroom after everyone has left for the day.
