VHS Movie Reviews of "OUTSIDE IN"-A Look At Adults With Attention Deficit Disorder [VHS]Movie Review: There's Nothing in It... Disappointed Summary: 1 StarsThis video has little information if anything to offer...there's more info on a TV ADD medication comercial! I feel ripped off. Yet I purchased other items which were great.
Movie Review: Give Yourself Hope, Watch This Video Summary: 5 StarsIf you have Adult ADD you must watch this video. If you also have a loved one you care about, especialy if you are having trouble in a relationship, you must show this video to them as well. This video does a wonderfull job of showing how ADD can affect not only your personal life on a daily basis, but also the life of your loved one. It illistrates to those you care about how ADD affects you and the effects on a relationship. It gives you hope of an answer and an answer for your loved one. So don't just save yourself, save your relationship. This video can show you and your loved one a path to recovery. If nothing else it can show you that you are normal and can live a normal life. Excellent video. Highly helpful. Moderate on specific medical information. Shows ADD in an understanding way. Good luck.
Movie Review: Falls short... Summary: 2 StarsI was hoping that this was a starting point for information about real people with ADD and to gain some insight into what I suspect is "ailing" my 19 year old son. This video doesn't go far enough for the price. I was very disappointed with it.
Movie Review: Yes! This is me and my life! Summary: 5 StarsThe video is outstanding, and it leaves me wanting for it to be much longer. Watching it is an experience of self-realization. Yes, that's me. Yes, that's me, too. Yes... Yes, my wife "doesn't understand me" and charges me with being passive-aggressive, as once mentioned in the video. Yes, I've made my family deeply angry and hurt them, as the son did in the video. Yes, I have always felt my life is a fraud and I am faking everything, as the principal describes hers. Yes, procrastination and the inability to finish things has crippled my life, as mentioned. Yes, I am overwhelmed by paperwork. Yes, I spend inordinate efforts at self-organization; and to little avail. Yes, virtually everything in life is experienced as unmanageable, as described. Yes, the existential actuality of my life is totally different from how other people perceive me. This video hits it all. I only wish it were longer. The only part I did not identify with was the supposedly hard-driving, successful entrepreneur who tries to say that ADD is a wonderful gift and the basis for his success. I think he is doing a self-promoting con job on us. He is just marketing himself! He'd not be self-identified as ADD if he thought having ADD was so great. Buddy, as Will says, "thou dost protest too much." This is a video that has been a self-revelation to me. It is also one I can pass to a few people who care about me, to help them understand what my life is like from the inside.
Movie Review: Very Helpul Video Summary: 4 StarsThis video is a little short, but definitely worth your time and money. I have two children who have been diagnosed with ADD and seeing this video gives my wife and I more hope than we have ever had. This is a misunderstood disorder and the more information and the more mainstream we make this to the general public the better served everyone is. Good ahead and make the purchase it's only 30 bucks and you and your family can benefit from this a lot.
