Movie Review: math equals religion? who knew
Summary: 5 Stars
Be prepared to be completely entranced by this lecture from Jewish mathematician Stan Tenen. The basic gist: the entire spiritual teachings of the Torah can be determined all within the first Hebrew letter. Tenen uses geometric thinking to explore philospohical concepts in a way never been seen before. Using three-dimensional hand-held models of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, Tenen explains how we still see these symbols today, and how they might represent the true language of God. It's a little hard to follow at times if your not completely math-minded, however Tenen dumbs it down enough so that mot viewers can understand the basic concept. I would recommend this to anyone who is particulary interested in religion, philosophy, language, or mathmatics.
