Full of suspense, music, song, dance, dogs, cats, great food, heroes, villains, and romance, this one is a winner. If you're looking for a gift, and it's not currently being sold, find it used. It's worth it. If you can only find a used copy, and don't want to get someone a "used" gift, you can always get the used version as a topper or extra gift to accompany something else.

I ordered this movie and for some reason it was returned to the seller--- I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED IT! I contacted the seller who emailed me back in a few hours time. They left me a phone number to call them. So I did I talked to a super nice man named Jim. He explained to me that I was among one of the 12 orders that got returned to them on this same day of ordering. I do not know what happened ? But Jim was wonderful and said he would reship the order to me. HE WAS JUST GREAT! MORE SELLER'S COULD TAKE NOTES ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC FROM HIM! I WILL ORDER FROM THESE SELLERS AGAIN!

Summary of Lady and the Tramp [VHS]

Disney's first animated feature in CinemaScope is now available in widescreen presentations on video, and it is definitely good to get the whole picture. One of the studio's most original and charming movies, the 1955 film tells the story of a rakish, street-smart dog named Tramp, who helps an aristocratic pooch named Lady out of some trouble and then commences a romance with her. Sweet, funny scenes abound, and the combination of innocence and sophistication would have done well in a live-action picture. Peggy Lee cowrote the songs and provides the voice of the Siamese cats in one of the film's best-known musical sequences. This newly restored version spruces up both sonics and visuals, and a letterbox version is available. --Tom Keogh
