VHS Movie Reviews of Lady Ninja: Reflections of Darkness (Ws Dub) [VHS]Movie Review: Lots of sex, violence, kung fu and more sex Summary: 3 StarsA Japanese emperor in the Edo period (whenever that was) has numerous mistresses who remain secret from his subjects. If this scandal is revealed it could destroy him and his empire, so a group of sexy female ninjas are brought in to destroy the Emperor's lovers before the truth is revealed to his opponents. LADY NINJA is part of a series, and features great atmospheric lighting and visual effects which manage to be both technical and tacky at the same time. Only the Japanese could pull this off and succeed! The surrealistic and comical "serpentine monster penis" scene is one of the movie's highlights and must be seen to be believed, amongst other things. It was a UK edition I viewed. The UK censors drew bras over the topless actresses in the still photos on the video slick. How is looking at a topless woman harmful? Weren't any of these people breast fed? It's just so ridiculous! Especially when there are a couple of contradictary scenes featuring spraying breast milk!! God save the Queen!!
Movie Review: A hillarious erotic comedy. Summary: 5 StarsGive or take, I have to admit, this was one of the weirdest, funniest movies I have ever seen. Yes, there is sex. No, it is not graphic sex. But yes, the sexual innuendo makes it hillarious!I found myself getting into his movie, just the humor and the oddity of it. The beginning starts out rather slow, the introductions and all. After watching this movie twice, I actually came to valuing the plot! At first it starts a little confusing. You don't know who's killing what, or why things are happening. Maybe that's just me, though. By the second time I watched this, I got the plot, and found the entire storyline hillarious as hell. There is some nudity, but I mean... you won't see anything as far as the lower front half of the anatomy. If you're looking for an erotic comedy that borders on porn, but isn't porn, this is your movie.
Movie Review: Lady Ninja Vol 1 Summary: 1 StarsI am the fan of Miho Nomoto
Summary of Lady Ninja: Reflections of Darkness (Ws Dub) [VHS]A butt-kicking quartet of female ninja assassins are hired by a ruthless magistrate to silence his past conquests. Three former courtesans could ruin his chaste reputation and discredit his bid for political glory, so he puts a contract out on them. A hearty hedonist who despises the sanctimonious hypocrite sends his own supernaturally powered thugs to capture the women, and they battle in an erotic series of superhero skirmishes that mix martial arts and magic spells, where the sexy ninja warriors repeatedly sacrifice their clothes for the greater glory of duty. They meet their equal in a feisty blonde Mata Hari who creates Japan's first blue movie when she displays the magistrate's sexual shenanigans across the sky like a heavenly drive-in film. The film straddles the line between spirited spoof and misguided action adventure, which the tongue-in-cheek English dubbing ably undercuts with painful puns and innuendo, but it never loses its outrageous sense of low-budget spectacle. Full of audacious violence and gratuitous nudity and logic-bending twists, it's wacky and weird and nearly incomprehensible, but it's never dull. --Sean Axmaker
