Movie Review: Entertaining World War 2 tv movie~
Summary: 4 Stars

Dyan Cannon is Jenny Baines as the mother of a British Flyer who has NO information about her MISSING son who was apparently MIA after a bombing raid over Germany. Jenny is the FORMER wife of a German Officer (Hartut Becker) Karl Koenig ...he is very good and we have seen him in dozens of Nazi Movies in this one we actually like him ...Jenny travels into occupied Germany to find if her son is a POW or died~ I liked Cannon in this one but felt she was a bit old for traveling around German trying to look 10 years younger~ this is for Entertainment only~ Elke Sommers is the MOST entertaining person in the movie since she plays the MADAM in a "brothel" Jenny makes contact with as a place to hide~ Jenny decides she needs to get into a POW camp to find her son and ends up having all the POWS in the camp having to hide her~ completely unlikely but a clever plot twist~ I give this move a 6 out of 10 for a entertaining afternoon movie to watch. HAS never been released on DVD~ a 1985 tv movie~

Movie Review: OUTSTANDING WWII MOVIE....
Summary: 5 Stars

My family and I saw this movie in the late 70's. It was a movie that my three sons grew up with and the movie has stayed with us throughout the years on VHS format. I have not been able to find it for sale in DVD format, now that VHS format is outdated. Best WWII British POW camp movie that keeps you glued to your chair with emotion, anticipating next moves and with tears. Highly recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I watched it. We both loved it. Fabulous depiction of WWII and events of the camps. Excellent story with many twists in the plot. Fabulous acting by Dyan Cannon and cast.

I saw this movie a few years ago and have looked for it since to buy it. Any mother will watch through tears. Absolutely one of the greatest works on the WWII era for war time drama and life.
