This was a nice family movie that we all enjoyed. Nice romantic story and good music. Also would be a good movie to watch at Christmas even though the title would make you think it is more a summer movie. Our five year old daughter also enjoyed the movie which is a plus for us.

I absolutely LOVE this movie!This is a charming movie that is definetly one of my all-time favorites! Even people who don't love musicals enjoy this movie! The first time I saw it I watched it three times in a row and I have watched it many times since! It is a heartwarming story about two antagonistic employees of a music shop who are corresponding anonymously "on intellectual subjects" and end up falling in love. You don't want to miss the last scene! This is a fabulous movie that I would recommend for your entire family! It never loses its charm!

Movie Review: Never Old and Definately Good in any Season!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of my favorite movies of all time, it is also my favorite version of this story. In my opinion Van Johnson and Judy Garland have a better chemistry than Stewart and . . . the other leading lady in Shop Around the Corner (I forgot her name) Of course, Jimmy Stewart was excellent but, I found the lady lacking. In this film you can practically see the sparks flying between Miss Fisher and Mr. Larken. Judy singing is also a great plus. The setting in late Victorian period is nice, too. Buster Keaton being in it was a big plus for me, too!
