Movie Review: Excellent Video! One of the best in the series!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Tricky Trickster is an excellent addition to this British television series. Once again, viewers are treated to a beautifully filmed series exploring the myths and legends surrounding the cultural myths of the Trickster god/s. Featured in this film are the Leprechaun, an African spider god, and the selfish and evil god of fire: Loki and much more. In particular, I enjoyed listening to the story of Odysseus and his brave crew, and the story of the African spider god was a fun morality tale, sure to delight everyone.

My only complaint about the Creatures Fantastic series...Is that it is not much longer. The series runs about 30 minutes, which I think could easily be stretched to AT LEAST an hour... Maybe two. Also, they missed out on discussing Coyote who was quite a prankster.

Because of some mature content, such as graphic violence, and depictions of death, I recommend this video for teenagers and adults.

Asking the viewer to imagine a world with no trickery, this well-produced narrative suggests that it would indeed be a dull place. Survival in the natural world, for example, often involves deception through camouflage or feigned behavior, each a form of trickery. Similarly, great acts of survival throughout history have often resulted from trickery and deception. Thus, Tricky Tricksters asserts that the world's great myths all contain a trickster character, offering superb examples from traditions as diverse as Greece (Odysseus) and Scandinavia (Loki).
