For those of you who are looking for the real story behind The Sound of Music for educational or just plain theater literacy purposes, this video is a wonderful counterpoint to the movie musical starring Julie Andrews. It's a fascinating look at how history becomes "fiction with a twist" in the movies. I've seen the video at least eight times, and every time I enjoy it.
