Movie Review: A dance extravaganza - wow, what a superb collection of favorites!

This video offers the fortunate viewer live performances from some of the most well-loved ballets:
Swan Lake (Act II Finale with Natalia Makarova) - The Nutcracker (two selections with Lesley Collier and Anthony Dowell) - The Sleeping Beauty (Irina Kolpakova - my personal favorite in this collection) - Romeo and Juliet (choreography in the two dances here are by wonderful Kenneth MacMillan/Royal Ballet) - Giselle (Kirov Ballet!) - Don Quixote (Baryshnikov, Cynthia Harvey).
It's wonderful to have this collection to turn to when watching an entire ballet just isn't possible. Viewing the dance from just one of these outstanding ballets is truly 'a full-course meal' and leaves one more than satisfied. What grace and beauty... Ahhh, if life could only emulate dance. :)
