Movie Review: Russian animation at it's best

I found this in a video store in the FSU. I bought it for my toddler who is bilingual. I love it. He loves it. The animation is gorgeous. The music is wonderful. It is a traditional tale of how a little peasant boy comes to have a magical little horse that helps him to escape the selfish plots of the grown-ups, the wicked vizier and foolish king to win the hand of the beautiful princess. You don't need to know a word of Russian to get it.
