Movie Review: Classic Candy and Levy!!! And Meg Ryan b4 the LIPS!!!

What a classic! I remember this when I was much younger. It would come on HBO and my mom would record it, but edit out all the bad stuff. It was so great to see it in it's entirety!
Classic John Candy as Dooley and Eugene Levy as Cane. Hilarious!!! Oh and Meg Ryan was soo cute before all the lip injections! It's funny to look at people back in the day and now. 99% of them should've left themselves alone!

I read some of my fellow viewer's comments; I have to say you people need to lightenup somewhat. This is not meant to be a sketch from the Royal Shakespeare Company. It is simple, corny, but fun! The scenario has already been written above, but I think Levy's banter with Candy, especially in the Peep show booth is hilarious. Also in the courthouse as Candy knocks Levy to the ground. "Thanks a lot, made my day." Great stuff! So, if you want to be entertained by pure stupid fun, go ahead, watch and enjoy yourself. This is a funny movie and not meant to impress pseudo-critics, of whom far too many adorn these pages.
Summary of Armed & Dangerous
Perhaps Stripes and Caddyshack screenwriter Harold Ramis and Commando director Mark Lester were not an ideal collaborative team. But while this 1986 misfit comedy is something of a misfire, SCTV fans can take heart in watching John Candy and Eugene Levy triumph over weak material as mismatched security guards who stumble upon mob corruption. Candy, in particular, does wonders with a role that in lesser hands would have been a mere "fatty falls down" stereotype. He plays a cynical disgraced cop who takes Levy's cowardly former lawyer under his wing ("Stick with me, I'll keep you out of trouble," he reassures him). Like Ramis's character in Stripes, Levy rises to the occasion under fire, and even gets the girl--Meg Ryan in early ing?nue mode, trying out the fetching grins and ingratiating smiles that would make her America's sweetheart three years later in When Harry Met Sally. --Donald LiebensonBumbling Cops Video
